The Seven Springs Museum

The Seven Springs Museum is located at 4355 Marietta St, Powder Springs, GA 30127, USA. It is open from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Wednesday through Saturday. Admission is free.

The museum houses a collection of artifacts and photographs that chronicle the history of Powder Springs, Georgia. The museum is operated by volunteers from the Seven Springs Historical Society.

The museum is currently displaying two exhibits:

  • “Powder Springs Has Some Deep Roots In It”: This exhibit outlines the story of the historical neighborhood called the Flats.
  • “An Oral History Portrait of an African American Community”: This exhibit tells the story of the African American community in Powder Springs from the early 1900s to the 1960s.

The museum is also home to the Seven Springs Library, which has a collection of books and other materials about the history of Powder Springs.

In addition to the exhibits and library, the museum also offers a variety of programs and events throughout the year. These programs and events are designed to educate visitors about the history of Powder Springs and to promote an appreciation for the city’s heritage.
